Les th\u00e8mes trait\u00e9s rappellent l\u2019attention de ce cr\u00e9ateur aux \u00eatres humains sortis de r\u00e9gions o\u00f9 le quotidien est autre, l\u2019anecdote porte alors un poids diff\u00e9rent aux \u00e9l\u00e9ments jug\u00e9s n\u00e9cessaires. Il en va de m\u00eame pour un bestiaire du moment\u00a0: tortues g\u00e9antes, crocodile, \u00e9l\u00e9phants aux tons improbables mais \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sence forte dans un environnement pluriel. Chaque tableau est le reflet, le souvenir, le rappel d\u2019une histoire \u00e0 lui seul mais il fait \u00e9galement partie d&rsquo;une inspiration r\u00e9currente qui m\u00eale \u00e0 la fois le regard de l&rsquo;artiste sur ses ma\u00eetres anciens, l\u2019observation de ses contemporains et son imaginaire d\u00e9brid\u00e9. Peut-\u00eatre un \u00e9cho et renvoi aux \u0153uvres de l\u2019a\u00efeul naturaliste, Pierre Boitard&#8230; Une rencontre picturale fondamentale en 1990 cr\u00e9a un d\u00e9clic imm\u00e9diat avec un retour aux sources, celle de la peinture, pour d\u00e9passer la simple anecdote d&rsquo;histoires qui seraient les siennes et s&rsquo;adresser aux humains que nous sommes. En parall\u00e8le, en \u00e9cho, r\u00e9pondent une quinzaine de structures et de sc\u00e8nes n\u00e9es de compositions sc\u00e9niques. Pour l&rsquo;exposition, deux directions sont \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u0153uvre : des structures faites de chutes de bois qui donnent \u00e0 voir des bustes ou des corps tels des carcasses d&rsquo;homme, de lapin, de chien, etc. Face \u00e0 ces \u00eatres surdimensionn\u00e9s, aux angles comme \u00e0 vif, et peints de mani\u00e8re brute, l&rsquo;artiste oppose des sortes de sayn\u00e8tes en m\u00e9tal, en bois d\u00e9coup\u00e9s, peints et assembl\u00e9s. Le geste semble rapide, comme r\u00e9pondant \u00e0 une urgence. Une fois de plus, les d\u00e9coupes restent irr\u00e9guli\u00e8res, l&rsquo;artiste voulant garder dans cette sensation de f\u00e9brilit\u00e9, une \u00e9nergie cr\u00e9atrice. Ces compositions sont comme des dioramas ou des bo\u00eetes artistiques de voyage tel Duchamp et sa Bo\u00eete-en-valise de 1941 \u00bb.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Comme le souligne Cyr Boitard, \u00ab&nbsp;le peintre est un m\u00e9tier d&rsquo;humain, c&rsquo;est une vie enti\u00e8re pour essayer de trouver avec humour une solution \u00e0 nos interrogations&nbsp;\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
