(d\u00e9tail)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Quelques \u00e9l\u00e9ments biographiques<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Originaire de Malo-les-Bains, une ancienne commune du d\u00e9partement du Nord int\u00e9gr\u00e9e dans l&rsquo;agglom\u00e9ration de Dunkerque, Catherine Pomper s\u2019int\u00e9resse t\u00f4t \u00e0 l\u2019image, \u00e0 l\u2019art et tout autant \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9criture po\u00e9tique. Sa sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 cette image qui retourne la t\u00eate dans tous les sens et donne une pr\u00e9sence autre et forte au monde, lui vaut, d\u00e8s l\u2019enfance, un encouragement familial avec la p\u00e9n\u00e9tration dans le monde des mus\u00e9es&nbsp;: la fr\u00e9quentation des expositions et une orientation in\u00e9vitable dans le secteur des arts plastiques. Apr\u00e8s un cursus \u00e0 Paris-Sorbonne et l\u2019obtention d\u2019une ma\u00eetrise en arts plastiques, la jeune artiste va s\u2019impliquer dans des exp\u00e9rimentations aussi exploratoires que les domaines du dessin, de la peinture et tout autant de la photographie. En parall\u00e8le \u00e0 sa carri\u00e8re de cr\u00e9atrice, elle s\u2019attache \u00e0 la diffusion des connaissances en dispensant un enseignement dans cette mati\u00e8re et, surtout, en donnant \u00e0 son tour acc\u00e8s \u00e0 un monde int\u00e9rieur aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves qui \u00e9prouvent ce besoin sensible.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>De la pluralit\u00e9 des techniques<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gravures \u2014 surtout \u00e0 la pointe s\u00e8che, \u00e0 l\u2019eau-forte et \u00e0 l\u2019aquatinte \u2014 et aussi monotype, se combinent parfois en collages improbables tandis que le dessin et le livre d\u2019artiste sont d\u2019autres approches \u00e0 ces modes d\u2019expression larges.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u00e9sireuse de s\u2019amuser et de pr\u00e9senter une \u0153uvre qui soit la synth\u00e8se, le manifeste de ce que peut \u00eatre un travail abouti apr\u00e8s quarante ans d\u2019une activit\u00e9 de cr\u00e9ation intense, Catherine Pomper s\u2019est collet\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019installation, mode d\u2019expression et de sc\u00e9nographie \u00e0 la fois envahissante par ses proportions gigognes et non ma\u00eetrisables, autant que chacune de ses parties, en l\u2019occurrence r\u00e9unies temporairement, vont ma\u00eetriser un pouce carr\u00e9 de l\u2019univers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>L\u2019installation aux 40 \u00e9l\u00e9ments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un point de d\u00e9part \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gal de celui d\u2019un conte&nbsp;: dans quarante petites bo\u00eetes en carton ont \u00e9t\u00e9 rang\u00e9s quarante films scolaires. Ces derniers sont remplac\u00e9s par des contenus retra\u00e7ant des films de voyages fictifs. Ces films fictifs sont r\u00e9alis\u00e9s sur des bandes de papier japonais Tosa shi \u2014 invitation au voyage oblige&nbsp;! en fait, cette utilisation d\u2019un tel papier est plus pragmatique, en l\u2019occurrence, li\u00e9e \u00e0 sa facilit\u00e9 de manipulation lorsqu\u2019il est roul\u00e9 afin de devenir ces 40 bobines fictives. Les contenus sont grav\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019aquatinte en deux couleurs et en quelque sorte similaire \u00e0 la binarit\u00e9 induite par la pr\u00e9sence contraire du noir et du blanc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces interventions spatiales, qui peuvent \u00eatre \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8res et quasiment polymorphes, Catherine Pomper ne les disjoint jamais de son approche po\u00e9tique qui vient se substituer au r\u00e9el \u00e0 la fa\u00e7on d\u2019un de Chirico.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;Pour moi \u2014 dit-elle \u2014 il est important de toujours lier mon travail \u00e0 mon \u00e9criture po\u00e9tique. Parmi les recueils de po\u00e9sie qui jalonnent aussi mon parcours, je pourrais proposer le dernier \u00ab\u00a0\u00c9quation de la Pivoine\u00a0\u00bb et<em> <\/em>\u00ab\u00a0A La Une\u00a0\u00bb, \u0153uvre qui est maintenant dans les fonds de la m\u00e9diath\u00e8que d\u2019Issy-les-Moulineaux&nbsp;\u00bb.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Par ailleurs, toujours au fil de ce parcours entre textes et images, images et signes, le plaisir des installations se retrouve dans des \u0153uvres comme <em>Inventaire<\/em> (ill.4) ou <em>Secrets d\u2019atelier<\/em> (ill.5).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
