Organis\u00e9e par la Chambre Syndicale de l\u2019Estampe, du Dessin et du Tableau (CSEDT), la manifestation r\u00e9unit 20 exposants europ\u00e9ens au sein du R\u00e9fectoire du Couvent des Cordeliers \u00e0 Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comme le rappelle Christian Collin, pr\u00e9sident de la Chambre syndicale de l\u2019estampe, du dessin et du tableau, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u00ab La Paris Print Fair est un point de rencontre entre marchands, collectionneurs et institutions, o\u00f9 les exposants se veulent aussi bien vecteurs de connaissance qu\u2019interpr\u00e8tes d\u2019une histoire \u00bb.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Vingt exposants, membres associ\u00e9s de la Chambre Syndicale de l\u2019Estampe, du Dessin et du Tableau (CSEDT), proposent une s\u00e9lection d\u2019estampes du XVe si\u00e8cle \u00e0 aujourd\u2019hui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Parmi les pr\u00e9sents, des marchands et galeristes parisiens sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s dans l\u2019estampe&nbsp;: Sarah Sauvin, Xavier Seydoux, Emanuel Von Baeyer, Martinez D., Pasnic Collection, Sagot Le Garrec, Le coin des Arts, Lelong Editions, Christian Collin, Documents 15, Grillon, Arenthon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Des marchands \u00e9trangers aux fonds prestigieux ont fait le d\u00e9placement vers ce lieu devenu patrimonial&nbsp;: la Galerie barcelonaise Palau Antiguitats, la Galerie francfortoise Helmut H. Rumbler proposent des s\u00e9lections d\u2019\u0153uvres vari\u00e9es de grands et petits ma\u00eetres du XIVe au XXe si\u00e8cle. C.G. Boerner (D\u00fcsseldorf, New York) une superbe s\u00e9lection de pi\u00e8ces allant de Hans Baldung \u00e0 Hendrick Goltzius, Goya, Rembrandt. Un bois de 1483 imprim\u00e9 sur trois feuilles, color\u00e9 \u00e0 la main renvoie au charme et \u00e0 la fascination de ces \u0153uvres \u00e0 l\u2019intensit\u00e9 spirituelle forte (ill. 1). A la galerie Martinez, une remarquable <em>Circoncision<\/em> (ill. 2) de Rembrandt quasi scientifique sur un moment intime\u2026 &nbsp;Un <em>Saint S\u00e9bastien<\/em> &nbsp;(ill. 3) de 1723 en gravure sur bois en clair obscur r\u00e9alis\u00e9 \u00e0 partir de quatre blocs rappelle le c\u00f4t\u00e9 presque magique de ces teintes si proches du lavis. Sur le stand de la galerie Sarah Sauvin, des paysages fantastiques de Bresdin, classiques de Claude Gell\u00e9e, des vues de Meyrion et Buhot aux facettes minutieuses et denses. Vaste choix allant de Stefano della Bella \u00e0 Judith Rothchild \u00e0 la galerie Emanuel von Baeyer de Londres (ill. 4), et une amusante famille de faunes de Nicolas Chaperon (ill.5). Par ailleurs, Pierre Bonnard, Odilon Redon, Auguste Lep\u00e8re c\u00f4toient Mario Avati, Claire Illouz et Zoran Music \u00e0 la galerie Sagot Le Garrec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019Extr\u00eame-Orient est bien repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par les galeries Christian Collin et Bei der Oper (Vienne), un imposant choix d\u2019\u0153uvres de diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9coles japonaises, des gravures et estampes de l\u2019\u00e8re de l\u2019Edo ou encore de l\u2019\u00e9cole d\u2019Osaka r\u00e9servent d\u2019excellentes surprises sur cette p\u00e9riode de transition qui fait basculer ces estampes du monde flottant vers des points de vue plus modernes, chacune de ces sc\u00e8nes r\u00e9sume la finesse d\u2019une ex\u00e9cution traditionnelle sur laquelle une ouverture \u00e0 un monde autre donne une dimension surprenante. Quelques jolis bois en couleur de Paul Jacoulet (ill. 6) marquant un raffinement de transition entre deux mondes. La gravure sur bois et la technique du lavis savent traduire des atmosph\u00e8res allant du fantastique \u00e0 un r\u00e9alisme autre. Autre <em>orientaliste<\/em>, Henri Rivi\u00e8re, dont des formats importants assument toujours leur \u00e9l\u00e9gante atmosph\u00e8re surann\u00e9e. Le r\u00e9gionalisme est aussi \u00e0 l\u2019honneur, notamment avec les \u0153uvres, des lithographies et des gravures sur bois de l\u2019\u00e9cole bretonne des XIXe et XXe si\u00e8cles avec des \u0153uvres de Lucien Simon, Alfred Marzin sur le stand de la Galerie St\u00e9phane Brugal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les artistes modernes et contemporains n\u2019ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 oubli\u00e9s&nbsp;: la Galerie Grillon pr\u00e9sente Pierre Alechinsky ou Victor Vasarely (ill. 7). On note aussi pour les artistes modernes et contemporains, Segui (ill.8), chez Pasnic ou des \u0153uvres de Fautrier, Tr\u00e9mois (Arenthon) de grands formats de Soulages (le Coin des arts), sans compter d\u2019originales tailles-douces de Picasso. De belles sc\u00e8nes d\u2019Erik Desmazi\u00e8res, de Judith Rothschild, Jean-Baptiste S\u00e9cheret, Sam Szafran \u00e0 la galerie Documents 15. &nbsp;Enfin, la cr\u00e9ation contemporaine sera repr\u00e9sent\u00e9e par plusieurs enseignes, les grandes s\u00e9rigraphies de Fabienne Verdier chez Lelong Editions tandis que la Galerie Nathalie B\u00e9reau expose \u00e9galement de jeunes artistes telles Atsuko Ishii (ill. 9)ou montre des atmosph\u00e8res de Caroline Bouyer dignes de la d\u00e9mesure des Piranese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le format intimiste de la foire, alliant grands ma\u00eetres de l\u2019estampe tels D\u00fcrer, Rembrandt, Picasso et Goya \u2014 ainsi \u00e0 la galerie Palau Antiguitats de Barcelone \u2014, et cr\u00e9ateurs actuels invitera amateurs et professionnels \u00e0 se plonger dans la diversit\u00e9 des pratiques li\u00e9es \u00e0 une discipline aussi bien historique que contemporaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De superbes gravures sur bois en clair-obscur, notamment d\u2019Antonio Maria Zanetti (Venise, 1680-1767) un <em>Saint S\u00e9bastien<\/em> imprim\u00e9 \u00e0 partir de 4 blocs, dat\u00e9 et monogramm\u00e9 \u00e0 la partie m\u00e9diane gauche de l\u2019\u0153uvre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comme le rappelle le dynamique pr\u00e9sident de l&rsquo;association des amateurs d&rsquo;estampes, Joseph de Colbert (ill. 10), rencontr\u00e9 au fil de ses visites sur diff\u00e9rents stands,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0notre&nbsp;association&nbsp; a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e le 24 novembre 2017, lorsqu\u2019un marchand d\u2019estampes a souhait\u00e9 r\u00e9unir et faire se rencontrer des collectionneurs passionn\u00e9s : tr\u00e8s vite une \u00e9vidence a fait consensus, le d\u00e9sir de partager cet enthousiasme avec un maximum d\u2019amateurs.Elle accueille tous ceux qui sont captiv\u00e9s par l\u2019estampe, collectionneurs ou pas, artistes, galeristes, conservateurs, universitaires, \u00e9tudiants : la promotion de l\u2019estampe, de ses d\u00e9buts jusqu\u2019\u00e0 nos jours, est notre principal objectif.&nbsp;Je comprends les efforts des conservateurs des \u00e9tablissements patrimoniaux &#8211; comme, notamment du cabinet des estampes de la Biblioth\u00e8que nationale -, de vouloir promouvoir la photographie, les estampes du 19e si\u00e8cle, voire celles de la fin du 18e, mais il est dommage de ne pas montrer des pi\u00e8ces plus anciennes.
