{"id":6043,"date":"2021-11-30T18:38:47","date_gmt":"2021-11-30T17:38:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alaincardenas.com\/blog\/?p=6043"},"modified":"2021-11-30T18:38:47","modified_gmt":"2021-11-30T17:38:47","slug":"a-propos-de-failles-sans-titre-oeuvre-recente-de-catherine-wintzenrieth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alaincardenas.com\/blog\/a-propos-de-failles-sans-titre-oeuvre-recente-de-catherine-wintzenrieth\/","title":{"rendered":"A propos de Failles [Sans titre], \u0153uvre r\u00e9cente de Catherine Wintzenrieth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>par Christophe Comentale et Alain Cardenas-Castro<\/p>\n<p>Dans une vie ant\u00e9rieure, <a href=\"https:\/\/catherinewintzenrieth.odexpo.com\/\">Catherine Wintzenrieth <\/a>a d\u00fb \u00eatre g\u00e9ologue ou stratigraphiste, \u00e0 en juger par cet attrait dynamique qui la pousse \u00e0 p\u00e9n\u00e9trer dans un monde min\u00e9ral \u00e0 tout le moins secret et d\u00e9routant, tant la logique des strates produites par le temps et ses caprices saisonniers ou climatiques ont acquis ici une nouvelle dimension, celle de ce qui aurait pu se passer et passer inaper\u00e7u, si cette d\u00e9miurge n\u2019avait pas d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on silencieuse et univoque, de transformer les mat\u00e9riaux d\u2019une approche g\u00e9ologique classique en un r\u00e9seau de verticales parasit\u00e9es, percut\u00e9es par les accidents qui se succ\u00e8dent, venant \u00e0 bout de duret\u00e9s improbables et de vacuit\u00e9s qui renvoient \u00e0 ces jeux de lettr\u00e9s asiatiques pris entre plein et vide, ce que les Occidentaux, justement, appellent les pierres de lettr\u00e9 ou pierres bizarres en chinois.<\/p>\n<p>Pass\u00e9e cette identification \u00e0 un rattachement illusoire, avec, cependant, de l\u2019aveu m\u00eame de l\u2019artiste, un besoin de concret, li\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0une formation de mosa\u00efste et un travail autour du papier, du bois, du marbre, de l&rsquo;ardoise et du m\u00e9tal\u00a0\u00bb, ces failles sont p\u00e9n\u00e9tr\u00e9es d\u2019une vacuit\u00e9 inqui\u00e9tante, non pas en raison des hauteurs \u00e0 pic qui ont, chacune, une ligne de cr\u00eate, une existence ou apparition lat\u00e9rale, large ou t\u00e9nue, ne prenant de v\u00e9ritable dimension que gr\u00e2ce aux jeux subtiles de cette graveuse qui dit de son approche, \u00ab\u00a0mon travail est principalement de forme abstraite (\u2026). Je me suis consacr\u00e9e depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es \u00e0 la gravure. J&rsquo;ai \u00e9tudi\u00e9 les diff\u00e9rentes techniques de l&rsquo;estampe. J&rsquo;associe diverses pratiques, ce qui me permet d&rsquo;affiner mes recherches autour de la mati\u00e8re et de la lumi\u00e8re. Pour certaines, les matrices se superposent \u00e0 des tirages et font int\u00e9gralement partie de la gravure\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Les mat\u00e9riaux les plus divers, carton, papier fin, japon ou chine, voire les matrices, tous ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments sont quasiment sublim\u00e9s pour prendre la dimension d\u2019un relief, celui d\u2019un canyon, d\u2019un haut relief devenu estampage ou d\u00e9couvert au sein d\u2019un monde impossible.<\/p>\n<p>Comme dans une certaine esth\u00e9tique, le vraisemblable se substitue au r\u00e9el, au vrai, il continue de tisser l\u2019activisme d\u2019un r\u00e9cit. Temps fort, temps pass\u00e9 ou impossible, peu importe, le voyage dans le temps conserve tout son attrait pour les explorateurs que nous devenons durant un clin d\u2019\u0153il ou une visite exploratoire.<\/p>\n<p>Catherine Wintzenrieth est invit\u00e9e \u00e0 la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sarcelles.fr\/actualites\/20eme-biennale-internationale-de-la-gravure-de-sarcelles\/\">20<sup>e<\/sup> biennale internationale de la gravure de Sarcelles<\/a> qui a lieu du 27 novembre au 12 d\u00e9cembre 2021.<\/p>\n<p><a
