Cette position est, \u00e0 mon avis, maintenant en partie obsol\u00e8te. Bien s\u00fbr, cette veille, cet \u00e9veil, ne doivent pas s\u2019arr\u00eater. N\u00e9anmoins, la vie s\u2019est maintenant charg\u00e9e de poser les questions elle-m\u00eame. Bien plus directement et globalement. Pour cela, on assemble des feuilles d\u2019environ un m\u00e8tre sur deux, puis, on colle leur pourtour sur le sol de l\u2019atelier. Apr\u00e8s, on contrecolle une couche de dix \u00e0 trente feuilles toujours tr\u00e8s fines sur la totalit\u00e9 de la surface et on les agglom\u00e8re en tapant avec un pinceau large et dru. Cela se r\u00e9p\u00e8te une quinzaine de fois avec des feuilles dont la qualit\u00e9 d\u00e9pend de la position de chaque couche dans l\u2019ouvrage, mais toujours appliqu\u00e9es de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re. Suit le d\u00e9collage de l\u2019ensemble du sol, la finition des bords, le traitement anti-insectes avec du jus de kaki amer sur le dos. Enfin suit le traitement de surface. Celui-ci est en trois temps\u00a0: d\u2019abord, il faut enduire la surface avec de l\u2019huile br\u00fblante, ensuite, la s\u00e9cher au soleil de l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9, enfin, la frotter avec du tofu. L\u2019ensemble du processus prend environ un mois.<\/p>\n<p>Le <em>tapis<\/em> en question n\u2019a pas de sens en Europe\u00a0: nous ne vivons pas par terre. Nous n\u2019avons pas l\u2019habitude de soigner les objets comme les Japonais\u00a0: il faut le lustrer tous les matins. Et surtout, nous n\u2019avons pas le m\u00eame climat. L\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 japonais est tr\u00e8s humide et chaud. Le c\u0153ur en papier du Yuton est riche d\u2019humidit\u00e9. La surface constitu\u00e9e de gras et de prot\u00e9ines, comme la peau, me semble cr\u00e9er une sorte de transpiration. C\u2019est tr\u00e8s probablement cela qui rafraich\u00eet la peau. Un d\u00e9tail tr\u00e8s \u00e9mouvant du Yuton est qu\u2019il change de couleur sa vie durant, soit une centaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es. De couleur ivoire, il change en caramel, brun, brun fonc\u00e9 avant de se d\u00e9sint\u00e9grer. J\u2019ai imagin\u00e9 alors un jeune homme brun sur un tapis presque blanc, puis, ce m\u00eame homme \u00e0 la fin de sa vie avec des cheveux blancs sur le m\u00eame tapis brun presque noir. Quel merveilleuse image de vieillir ensemble ainsi, l\u2019un perdant ce que l\u2019autre gagne. Je ne comprenais pas les informations sensitives\u00a0: une surface brun caramel, \u00e0 la fois douce et lisse, mate et miroir\u00a0: un lac immobile et une mer en temp\u00eate. Le jardin vert se refl\u00e8te dans le miroir brun du tapis. J\u2019ai alors demand\u00e9\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Qu\u2019est-ce que c\u2019est\u00a0?\u00a0\u00bb La r\u00e9ponse fut\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Yuton. Tapis d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9. Qui n\u2019\u00e9tait pas de tout repos, je dois avouer. Mais, je me suis battu tout le long, et j\u2019ai appris. Et j\u2019ai compris. Je voulais rendre disponible aux occidentaux, aux contemporains cette sensation qui m\u2019avait emport\u00e9 litt\u00e9ralement. Cela, je le vois comme si je contemplais leurs portraits. Ensuite, l\u2019histoire qui s\u2019y est ajout\u00e9e \u00e0 travers ma main, \u00e0 travers mon c\u0153ur, pour ne pas oublier le lieu o\u00f9 le travail est vu. Enfin, celui qui le regarde. Tout se m\u00eale, pass\u00e9 et pr\u00e9sent se confondent, la lumi\u00e8re fait son miracle, changeant le tableau \u00e0 chaque seconde. peinture \u00e0 l\u2019huile. Tout y est\u00a0: les fibres pour la toile, l\u2019huile et des pigments pour la peinture. La beaut\u00e9 r\u00e9side dans le fait de savoir transformer en une \u0153uvre d\u2019art des choses de la nature qui cohabitent si \u00e9troitement et se nourrissent mutuellement. L\u2019un retourne incessamment \u00e0 l\u2019autre, s\u2019il n\u2019est pas extrait, fig\u00e9 par la main de l\u2019homme.<\/p>\n<p>Un mur en pis\u00e9, de la terre condens\u00e9e en strates, ont le grand avantage d\u2019avoir une tr\u00e8s grande inertie thermique, l\u2019avantage aussi de ne pas polluer, de ne pas devoir \u00eatre transport\u00e9, si la terre sur place est appropri\u00e9e. De ne rien co\u00fbter, non plus, du moment que l\u2019on pourra utiliser la terre, ne pas d\u00e9figurer le paysage. Et, le dernier avantage, et non des moindres, est que la terre puisse retourner \u00e0 la terre.<\/p>\n<p>Une cruche en terre qui rafraich\u00eet son contenu par l\u2019\u00e9vaporation cr\u00e9\u00e9e sur son corps de mati\u00e8re poreuse. Une fois le savoir perdu, il est tr\u00e8s difficile de le reconstituer. La r\u00e9alisation de l\u2019ouvrage a pris huit ans. En huit ans, un tiers des papetiers r\u00e9pertori\u00e9s a disparu. Sans ce genre d\u2019ouvrage, il serait de plus en plus difficile de sauvegarder le souvenir de la diversit\u00e9. Au moins, on peut esp\u00e9rer de pouvoir les reproduire avec l\u2019aide des \u00e9chantillons et le regroupement des r\u00e9gions de fabricants ainsi assembl\u00e9es. C\u2019est un outil de recherche inestimable sur les lieux, les techniques, les mat\u00e9riaux, les conditions climatiques, etc. (V)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Savoir de SUR vie. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ces r\u00e9flexions m\u2019ont conduit \u00e0 cristalliser l\u2019id\u00e9e qui suit\u00a0: pour la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u00e0 venir, il serait important qu\u2019elle ait \u00e0 sa port\u00e9e une compilation de techniques ancestrales, r\u00e9pertori\u00e9e avec les informations n\u00e9cessaires pour les \u00e9tudier, les appliquer, les comprendre et les transformer. Ainsi, une technique qui fonctionne bien dans un lieu aux conditions climatiques et g\u00e9ologiques donn\u00e9es, peut \u00eatre ais\u00e9ment adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 un lieu qui a des caract\u00e9ristiques semblables et si les coutumes de vie le permettent. Mais, le moins pr\u00e9visible, c\u2019est, justement l\u2019\u00e9volution des coutumes.<\/p>\n<p>Selon Sir Tim Smit, co-fondateur de Eden Project \u00e0 Cornwall, presque toutes les inventions technologiques actuelles ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 imagin\u00e9es par les \u00e9crivains de science-fiction des Ann\u00e9es Cinquante. On peut donc imaginer que ce seraient les besoins vitaux et l\u2019\u00e9volution des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations \u00e0 venir qui jugeront de l\u2019utilit\u00e9 d\u2019une chose ou d\u2019une autre. La recherche de techniques presque oubli\u00e9es et dispers\u00e9es autour de la plan\u00e8te me semble une affaire difficile, par ailleurs, dans une situation o\u00f9 le temps compte, un temps relativement cl\u00e9ment du c\u00f4t\u00e9 du climat. Cela ne va pas durer.
