Un lieu qui sied tout \u00e0 fait aux recherches de cette plasticienne et photographe dont le parcours est \u00e0 mi-chemin entre science et enchantement. Une rigueur qui, heureusement n\u2018enl\u00e8ve rien aux d\u00e9lires de la Nature, source de vie, de plaisir et de remises en cause. Apr\u00e8s l\u2019obtention en 1999 d\u2019un Dipl\u00f4me National Sup\u00e9rieur d\u2019Expression Plastique \u00e0 l\u2019Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Toulouse, cette photographe, enseignante aussi, axe ses recherches sur la densit\u00e9 de la for\u00eat, la cueillette et la marche. Tapis, champignon, bois de cerf, paillette de mica font l\u2019objet d\u2019une attention soutenue et de manipulations exp\u00e9rimentales devenues des cr\u00e9ations m\u00e9thodiques dont l\u2019aspect rappelle ces cabinets scientifiques du XIXe si\u00e8cle, si chers \u00e0 toute l\u2019\u00e9cole abstraite des <em>installationnistes<\/em> actuels : moulage en pl\u00e2tre, sporulation, mise en sc\u00e8ne lors des installations sc\u00e9nographiques con\u00e7ues pour la pr\u00e9sentation des oeuvres. L\u2019enjeu oscille entre image et imaginaire : traces, manques, d\u00e9fauts et imperfections constituent le champ d\u2018une exp\u00e9rience structur\u00e9e par la rigueur des dispositifs mis en place, anim\u00e9 par la recherche de l\u2019invisible et la volont\u00e9 d\u2019un certain r\u00e9-enchantement.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis 2007 une interrogation pour puiser aux sources de l\u2019image rencontre un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne naturel : la sporulation du champignon. En mettant en place ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de mani\u00e8re quasi scientifique et rigoureuse, le r\u00e9sultat est inconnu et ne correspond \u00e0 aucun crit\u00e8re esth\u00e9tique a priori. Ainsi, si au geste photographique se substitue une nouvelle activit\u00e9 c&rsquo;est pour en \u00e9largir la r\u00e9flexion, les limites jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 l\u2019effacement.<\/p>\n<p>Parmi ses nombreuses expositions en France et \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tranger, Fondation pour l\u2019Art Contemporain &#8211; Caisse d\u2019Epargne de Toulouse (2004), Centre d\u2019art Contemporain de Colomiers (2006), Centre d&rsquo;art contemporain La Chapelle St Jacques \u00e0 St Gaudens (2010), Galerie ALB, Paris (depuis 2010), dont l\u2019exposition personnelle Tamogitake [\u5317\u98ce\u83cc] (2016), Maison des Arts de Malakoff (2018), Acad\u00e9mie des Sciences de Dunhuang, Chine (2018),\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Que la science le c\u00e8de \u00e0 l\u2019imaginaire<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lorsqu\u2019elle d\u00e9veloppe pour la premi\u00e8re fois ses recherches sur les spor\u00e9es \u00ab\u00a0sous un tapis de feuille ou dans un pr\u00e9 vert et plut\u00f4t le matin\u00a0\u00bb, Anouck Durand Gasselin ressent la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de collaborer avec la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 mycologique de France \u00e0 Paris, o\u00f9 elle rencontre Ren\u00e9 Chalange, elle fr\u00e9quente la biblioth\u00e8que sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e de ce lieu et participe aux s\u00e9ances d&rsquo;identification des champignons.<\/p>\n<p>En parall\u00e8le de ses recherches sur les spor\u00e9es, Anouck Durand Gasselin collabore avec Josette Debroux, sociologue, chercheur au CNRS pour la r\u00e9alisation de <em>L\u00e9gendes<\/em>, un observatoire photographique des paysages abouti en 2012. Ce reportage a \u00e9t\u00e9 command\u00e9 par Le Parc naturel des Monts d\u2019Ard\u00e8che et l\u2019association Sur Le Sentier des Lauzes (Ard\u00e8che).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les \u0153uvres expos\u00e9es au Mus\u00e9e Denys Puech<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Coutumi\u00e8re des lieux qu\u2019elle doit s\u2019approprier et redimensionner selon ses envies, et en mettant ainsi en valeur ses orientations conceptuelles et esth\u00e9tiques, ADG a \u00e9t\u00e9 accueillie voil\u00e0 peu en r\u00e9sidence \u00e0 l\u2019Espace photographique Arthur Batut en la ville de Labrugui\u00e8re pour faire dialoguer son \u0153uvre, produite en partie \u00e0 Labrugui\u00e8re, avec des gravures d\u2019Eug\u00e8ne Viala (1859-1913) s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9es dans la collection du mus\u00e9e Denys Puech r\u00e9trospective de travaux diff\u00e9rents mais compl\u00e9mentaires.<\/p>\n<p>Dans la salle du sous-sol, une trentaine de photogrammes dont les formats varient de 30 sur 40 cm \u00e0 elles feront l&rsquo;objet du c\u0153ur de l&rsquo;exposition avec l&rsquo;installation <em>Sporoth\u00e8que et projections<\/em>. Cette pr\u00e9sentation renvoie \u00e0 un travail, une recherche entrepris depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es\u00a0: \u00e0 savoir, le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019une m\u00e9thode de production d\u2019images en symbiose avec la nature. En effet, les formes myst\u00e9rieuses pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es sur des supports aussi vari\u00e9s que du papier photographique, des plaques en m\u00e9tal ou en verre ne sont pas des photographies mais des spor\u00e9es de champignon. Les mycologues connaissent bien ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de sporulation qui veut que le champignon, pour se reproduire, projette abondamment de minuscules graines, les spores. Rigoureuse \u2013 qualificatif \u00e0 tort associ\u00e9 au seul travail des scientifiques, ceux qui aiment se colleter \u00e0 la mati\u00e8re \u2013 Anouck Durand Gasselin l\u2019est aussi, comme beaucoup de cr\u00e9ateurs qui doivent contr\u00f4ler dans la continuit\u00e9 leur processus de cr\u00e9ation, ses d\u00e9veloppements et prolongements parfois inattendus. parall\u00e8le \u00e0 cette exposition, un floril\u00e8ge des \u0153uvres d\u2019 Anouck Durand Gasselin sera visible dans la galerie R\u00e9plique avec notamment les spor\u00e9es tamoshitake [\u5317\u98ce\u83cc]. Quelques champignons s\u00e9ch\u00e9s deviendront des sp\u00e9cimens extraordinaires bouclant la boucle qui m\u00e8ne de la fr\u00e9n\u00e9sie de la reproduction au stade fossile qui se pr\u00e9pare \u00e0 d\u00e9fier le temps.<\/p>\n<p>Comme bon nombre de ses coll\u00e8gues, ADG est obnubil\u00e9e par cet aspect de la vie, de la transmission de la vie avec un tel th\u00e8me. On retrouve cette approche vie \/ mort \/ immortalit\u00e9 chez des artistes comme Carsten H\u00f6ller, un artiste \u00e9galement agronome qui applique lui aussi des exp\u00e9rimentations scientifiques \u00e0 ses r\u00e9alisations artistiques. \u00ab\u00a0Ce qui m\u2019int\u00e9resse, dit-il, c\u2019est qu\u2019il soit possible, ou envisageable d\u2019acc\u00e9der au c\u00f4t\u00e9 \u00e9trange des choses. [\u2026] J\u2019aspire \u00e0 une culture de l\u2019incertitude, un d\u00e9veloppement social \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle d\u2019une communaut\u00e9 qui autoriserait une multitude d\u2019approches pour le regard. [\u2026] Je cherche un moyen d\u2019aider le sentiment d\u2019\u00eatre compl\u00e8tement perdu\u00a0\u00bb.
