C\u2019est dans ce m\u00eame esprit qu\u2019un cr\u00e9ateur chinois, Dong Baichuan, exposera un floril\u00e8ge de 26 \u0153uvres, des paysages et des personnages au premier niveau de l\u2019\u00e9tablissement, r\u00e9serv\u00e9 aux expositions temporaires.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Attir\u00e9 depuis l\u2019enfance par les r\u00e9actions inattendues de la couleur appliqu\u00e9e sur le papier, sur la toile, devenus des supports invisibles et ob\u00e9issants quand le peintre sait les rendre flexibles, Dong Baichuan continue depuis plusieurs d\u00e9cennies de ma\u00eetriser avec une inventivit\u00e9 \u00e0 renouveler ce th\u00e8me qui assume en Chine une importance unique, esth\u00e9tique autant que strat\u00e9gique. N\u00e9 en 1970 \u00e0 Zhanjiang dans la province c\u00f4ti\u00e8re du Guangdong, il est dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 de l\u2019institut des Beaux-arts de Guangzhou, puis m\u00e8ne une carri\u00e8re d\u2019enseignant\u00a0: il est notamment en poste \u00e0 l\u2019Institut d&rsquo;arts plastiques de l&rsquo;Acad\u00e9mie des Beaux-arts du Hebei, \u00e0 l\u2019Institut d&rsquo;\u00e9tudes de cultures et d&rsquo;arts ethniques de Chine. En parall\u00e8le, son \u0153uvre artistique, expos\u00e9 dans diff\u00e9rentes galeries et mus\u00e9es est accueilli avec int\u00e9r\u00eat car il met sa technique pr\u00e9cise et son sens de l\u2019observation aigu\u00eb au c\u0153ur d\u2019une esth\u00e9tique qui pr\u00f4ne un regard sur le monde et l\u2019Homme, ce qui ressort de ses centres d\u2019observation majeurs.<\/p>\n<p>Ses sujets de pr\u00e9dilection sont d\u2019une part les paysages, et, de l\u2019autre, les personnages, un th\u00e8me qu\u2019il a choisi de privil\u00e9gier au fil de r\u00e9centes expositions. Giuseppe Castiglione<a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a>, j\u00e9suite italien \u00e0 la Cour de Chine au XVIIIe s. ne s\u2019y est pas tromp\u00e9 qui adopte dans son \u0153uvre peint un style pr\u00e9cis qui lui attire la faveur et des commandes du monarque, en particulier lorsqu\u2019il peint la concubine imp\u00e9riale.<\/p>\n<p>Au XIXe si\u00e8cle, les portraits de personnages de Ren Xiong (1823-1857) renforcent encore ce statut de la peinture de personnage. Le XXe et ce XXIe si\u00e8cle ne font que conforter l\u2019importance d\u2019une excellente technique qui traduit l\u2019excellence du sujet peint comme son caract\u00e8re particulier. Taiwan n\u2019\u00e9chappe pas \u00e0 cette s\u00e9duction de la repr\u00e9sentation et du para\u00eetre, Han Wulin m\u00e8ne une carri\u00e8re r\u00e9ussie dans les ann\u00e9es 80.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Le renouveau de la peinture de personnage\u00a0: <\/strong><strong>entre classicisme et r\u00e9alisme ethnique<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dong Baichuan, contrairement \u00e0 ses confr\u00e8res, ne puise pas \u00e0 une source unique qui serait celle d\u2019une Histoire dure et comme vue \u00e0 travers le prisme d\u00e9formant des actions des grands hommes. Sa vision est plus large, beaucoup plus f\u00e9d\u00e9ratrice, laissant \u00e0 ces personnages mis en pr\u00e9sence, le sens de leur cheminement au sein d\u2019une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 en mutation.<\/p>\n<p>Une premi\u00e8re source d\u2019inspiration est, ind\u00e9niablement, <strong>le mod\u00e8le russe<\/strong>, de la peinture r\u00e9aliste sovi\u00e9tique. Un mod\u00e8le qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 attentif \u00e0 des ma\u00eetres du pass\u00e9. Lorsqu\u2019il peint les mains, Dong Baichuan a aussi en t\u00eate le souvenir des \u0153uvres de ma\u00eetres russes, certes, mais tout autant la position attentiste, \u00e9mue, tragique que les protagonistes du Caravage, de Rubens, avaient adopt\u00e9e. De cette observation intense na\u00eet une large synth\u00e8se est \u2013ouest qui pousse Dong Baichuan \u00e0 confronter une repr\u00e9sentation de femme d\u2019une ethnie non Han \u00e0 une femme russe, jouant des diff\u00e9rences d\u2019attitude, l\u2019une plus int\u00e9rioris\u00e9e, l\u2019autre dans l\u2019imm\u00e9diatet\u00e9 de l\u2019expression d\u2019un sentiment intense.<\/p>\n<div
