(coll. particuli\u00e8re)<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Aux confins d\u2019une, de deux ou de plusieurs autres civilisations, Anne Mandorla, peintre, graveuse, historienne de l\u2019art et voyageuse, continue depuis plusieurs d\u00e9cennies d\u2019aller au fil d\u2019\u0153uvres qui savent traduire ses synth\u00e8ses, des exp\u00e9riences n\u00e9es d\u2019un imaginaire en constante interrogation et de curiosit\u00e9s nourries de ses envies les plus diverses.<\/p>\n<p>Comme elle le rappelle dans un entretien, \u00ab\u00a0chacun voit le paysage selon son regard et sa personnalit\u00e9. Ma perception v\u00e9cue est celle d\u2019une artiste arpenteuse, observatrice, voire contemplatrice. Mes peintures allusives sont pr\u00e9textes \u00e0 jouer du spectacle de la nature, rappelant \u00e0 l\u2019humain qu\u2019il gravite dans un monde impermanent (ou \u00ab\u00a0monde flottant\u00a0\u00bb, pour le Japon ancien)\u00a0\u00bb. L\u2019id\u00e9e est aussi n\u00e9e en pensant, par ailleurs, \u00e0 une confrontation Est-Ouest pour un colloque \u00e0 venir. Je me suis rappel\u00e9 avoir r\u00e9dig\u00e9 pour la revue <em>Le bois grav\u00e9<\/em> (f\u00e9vrier 1987, n\u00b0 14) un article <em>La gravure sur bois en Chine. <\/em>En fin d\u2019article, une \u0153uvre (ill.2) de Wang Jieyin, <em>Porte monumentale<\/em> (1986) montrait une porte fortifi\u00e9e de ville chinoise \u00e0 laquelle un petit personnage en ombre donnait une \u00e9chelle particuli\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>Comme parall\u00e8lement, de fa\u00e7on insidieuse, assez r\u00e9cemment, une \u0153uvre d\u2019Anne Mandorla s\u2019est impos\u00e9e \u00e0 moi\u00a0 (ill. 1) : comme une section de paysage qui serait vue d\u2019un train\u00a0; une image d\u00e9j\u00e0 abandonn\u00e9e, rejet\u00e9e dans la distance du trajet effectu\u00e9 et qui ne cesse de cro\u00eetre pour faire se succ\u00e9der des \u00e9vocations fugaces mais appel\u00e9es \u00e0 resurgir, comme des signes nomades en quelque sorte.<\/p>\n<p>A la partie inf\u00e9rieure de cette petite estampe ou \u00ab\u00a0estampette\u00a0\u00bb comme aime \u00e0 les appeler Anne Mandorla, pour qualifier ces \u0153uvres consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme des pi\u00e8ces cr\u00e9\u00e9es pour le plaisir, la l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9 d\u2019un geste, d\u2019une pens\u00e9e e<em>n d\u00e9chassant crainte, souci et doute<\/em>,\u00a0 mais \u00e0 forte structure, comme un sol de sable et de terre produit un ruban de lavis ocre semblable \u00e0 une base d\u00e9sertique, tandis que la partie sup\u00e9rieure, un paysage dans les gris brumeux ou ac\u00e9r\u00e9s, laisse entrevoir une sorte de b\u00e2timent fortifi\u00e9 dont l\u2019avant-toit rappelle ces constructions chinoises si caract\u00e9ristiques.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_3214\" style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img
