Les premiers penseurs, Confucius (n\u00e9 en 551 avant J.-C.) et Mo Ti (Ve si\u00e8cle avant J.-C.), connaissent la morale, mais pas le destin indivi\u00adduel et la libert\u00e9. La religion noble, celle de la classe f\u00e9odale, ne consid\u00e8re l\u2019homme que dans son r\u00f4le social, d\u00e9termin\u00e9 par les rites. Tout l\u2019ordre f\u00e9odal s&rsquo;y exprime. Cet ordre ne semble avoir pr\u00e9vu de vie outre-tombe que pour les nobles : les grands anc\u00ea\u00adtres. Le commun des mortels, lui, va aux Sources Jaunes, le cloaque souterrain, car<em> les<\/em> <em>rites ne descendent pas jusqu\u2019au peuple<\/em> \u00bb (Kristofer Schipper, <em>Le corps tao\u00efste<\/em>).<\/p>\n<div class=\"mceTemp\"><\/div>\n<p>Fort de cette mise au point claire et peut-\u00eatre pas si nette, on se sent quand m\u00eame pr\u00eat \u00e0 regarder ces statuettes parfois simples, mais parfois d\u2019une lecture quelque peu g\u00ean\u00e9e, justement, par cette transparence qui n\u2019en est pas vraiment une. En consultant une liste en ligne, j\u2019ai eu la surprise de d\u00e9couvrir un fonds d\u2019environ deux cents pi\u00e8ces patiemment r\u00e9unies par un amateur \u00e9pris de ces formes et sujets myst\u00e9rieux. L\u2019amateur ayant quitt\u00e9 ce monde, son environnement familial a t\u00f4t fait de mettre \u00e0 la vente ces objets sans signification pr\u00e9cise. Le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne est relativement r\u00e9gulier\u00a0: les collections de ce type sont rarement le centre d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat du plus grand nombre. (voir les 2 photos ci-dessus).<\/p>\n<p>Contrairement aux arts d\u2019Afrique qui ont eu, en raison de l\u2019Histoire, l\u2019honneur des mus\u00e9es occidentaux, l\u2019Asie sinis\u00e9e, qui a su passer \u00e0 travers un processus de colonisation globale, n\u2019a pas pu faire l\u2019objet de constitution de fonds sp\u00e9cifiques, si ce n\u2019est le fonds de manuscrits et gravures sur bois d\u00e9couvert \u00e0 Dunhuang dans la province du Gansu, au d\u00e9but du XXe s. le sujet revient p\u00e9riodiquement pour nourrir des dissenssions Est-Ouest. Et, de plus, la sinologie occidentale \u00e9tant en tr\u00e8s net repli \u2013 l\u00e0 encore pour des raisons socio-\u00e9conomiques \u2013 il ne semble pas que la situation de sauvegarde de ces pi\u00e8ces \u00e0 caract\u00e8re religieux syncr\u00e9tique s\u2019am\u00e9liore. Par ailleurs, la partie chinoise n\u2019est pas extr\u00eamement sensible \u00e0 la pr\u00e9servation des pi\u00e8ces populaires. Le somptuaire refl\u00e9tant davantage ce qui est jug\u00e9 digne de rester dans la m\u00e9moire collective.<\/p>\n<p>Le minist\u00e8re de la culture et la direction du patrimoine de Chine savent qu\u2019il y a, potentiellement, des fonds importants de pi\u00e8ces \u00e0 caract\u00e8re populaire, rituel, religieux, mais les \u00e9tudes pouss\u00e9es sur le sujet ne sont pas l\u00e9gions. L\u2019apparition de mus\u00e9es et fondations priv\u00e9s depuis 2001 a permis de mettre au jour des ensembles int\u00e9ressants in\u00e9galement \u00e9tudi\u00e9s mais connus et \u00e9voqu\u00e9s lors de r\u00e9unions patrimoniales importantes\u00a0: celles, annuelles, du mus\u00e9e DaTang xishi (Xi\u2019an), collections Yin Shaoting au mus\u00e9e des minorit\u00e9s du Guizhou ou encore les fonds rassembl\u00e9s par Feng Jicai au sein de l\u2019universit\u00e9 de Tianjin. Des chercheurs occidentaux continuent leurs investigations au fil des d\u00e9couvertes, des collaborations\u00a0: Patrice Fava, Alain Arrault, Michela Bussotti,\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Il n\u2019emp\u00eache que le moment semble venu, face \u00e0 une volont\u00e9 politique de restituer des fonds africains \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents pays, de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 la notion d\u2019arts premiers asiatiques.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Des arts premiers asiatiques<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Une premi\u00e8re tentative de regrouper toutes les formes d\u2019arts non occidentaux a \u00e9t\u00e9 assez concr\u00e8tement r\u00e9alis\u00e9e lorsque Jacques Kerchache avec le soutien des autorit\u00e9s politiques fran\u00e7aises a pu pr\u00e9senter un floril\u00e8ge tout \u00e0 fait in\u00e9gal regroupant en fait un important fonds de pi\u00e8ces africaines tir\u00e9es des collections du Mus\u00e9um national d\u2019Histoire naturelle et du mus\u00e9e des arts africains et oc\u00e9aniens, institutions cr\u00e9\u00e9es dans le contexte des valorisations \u00e9conomiques du pays au sein de ses colonies\u00a0; y figurent assez maladroitement quelques pi\u00e8ces asiatiques, en l\u2019occurrence taiwanaises. Il aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 strat\u00e9giquement plus coh\u00e9rent de revaloriser les pi\u00e8ces vietnamiennes entr\u00e9es dans les mus\u00e9es fran\u00e7ais\u2026 Fait du prince et prolongements mercantiles ont orchestr\u00e9 cet \u00e9pisode que la presse n\u2019a alors cess\u00e9 de relayer.<\/p>\n<p>Il n\u2019emp\u00eache qu\u2019avec la mise en place d\u2019un mus\u00e9e ouvert \u00e0 toutes les manifestations possibles, la notion de patrimoine a bien chang\u00e9, en silence, dans le calme strat\u00e9gique des cabinets de gestionnaires administratifs qui font et d\u00e9font \u00e0 l\u2019envi les concepts de patrimoine. Ils sont en retard sur la Chine qui a cr\u00e9\u00e9 r\u00e9cemment un minist\u00e8re de la Culture d\u00e9sormais un minist\u00e8re du Tourisme et de l\u2019Administration nationale du tourisme de Chine. Ils sont plusieurs \u00e0 avoir adopt\u00e9 cette monture extraordinaire\u00a0: outre Laozi, le Ma\u00eetre du Pin rouge \u8d64\u677e\u5b50, ma\u00eetre de la Pluie, le troisi\u00e8me est le musicien Wangzi Qiao, ermite qui vivait parmi les grues qui, par groupes de huit, se mettent \u00e0 danser. On ne peut oublier Lu Ban\u9c81\u73ed, le divin charpentier et le Dieu de la Long\u00e9vit\u00e9 \u58fd\u8001\u7237, ce dernier fait partie de la triade tao\u00efste du bonheur, de la prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9 et de la long\u00e9vit\u00e9.
