Cela renvoie au statut particulier du livre en Chine\u00a0: ce <em>document<\/em> est, encore et toujours, li\u00e9 \u00e0 la connaissance pour le public chinois. Rappelons que c\u2019est dans la grotte 17 qu\u2019ont \u00e9t\u00e9 trouv\u00e9s au d\u00e9but du XX<sup>e<\/sup> s. les quelques dizaines de milliers de manuscrits et ouvrages imprim\u00e9s en gravure sur bois d\u00e9sormais principalement conserv\u00e9s en France (biblioth\u00e8que nationale et mus\u00e9e Guimet) et en Grande-Bretagne (British Library).\u00a0Un autre titre parall\u00e8le a \u00e9t\u00e9 trouv\u00e9 par la partie chinoise \u00ab\u00a0la douceur de l&rsquo;\u00e9crit\u00a0\u00bb ou \u00ab\u00a0la douceur du manuscrit\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0allusion \u00e0 la qualit\u00e9 de la s\u00e9lection des pi\u00e8ces choisies qui peuvent \u00eatre litt\u00e9raires, populaires, avant-gardistes,&#8230; Un peu diff\u00e9rentes de la s\u00e9lection qui aurait pu \u00eatre faite en Chine en mati\u00e8re d&rsquo;\u00e9crits comparatistes, anciens, modernes, contemporains.<\/p>\n<p>Un catalogue trilingue chinois \u2013 fran\u00e7ais \u2013 anglais abondamment illustr\u00e9 \u00e0 para\u00eetre est \u00e9dit\u00e9 et diffus\u00e9 par le <a href=\"http:\/\/en.dha.ac.cn\/\">mus\u00e9e<\/a> pour accompagner cette manifestation.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">De la raret\u00e9 et de sa perception Est &#8211; Ouest<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Une expression chinoise r\u00e9sume assez bien la position des lettr\u00e9s face aux objets rares et souvent anciens qui ont constitu\u00e9 les joyaux de collections originales au fil des dynasties et continuent en cette p\u00e9riode d\u2019expansion du pays\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0s\u2019amuser avec les antiquit\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb (wan gudong \u73a9\u53e4\u8463). Les r\u00e9unions entre collectionneurs restent fr\u00e9quentes et g\u00e9n\u00e8rent \u00e9changes, acquisitions, publications.<\/p>\n<p>Les \u00e9rudits ne semblent pas oser s\u2019amuser aussi ouvertement avec le livre en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, restant respectueux face \u00e0 ce r\u00e9ceptacle du savoir, en particulier des rites qui r\u00e9gissent la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, instaurent un \u00e9quilibre et une \u00e9tiquette quasi immuables. Les documents, os oraculaire, fiches de bambou, rouleau de soie, apparaissent au sein d\u2019une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 o\u00f9 la civilisation commence traditionnellement avec l\u2019\u00e9crit r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 par les traces des griffes que le dragon laisse sur le sol.<\/p>\n<p>La s\u00e9lection que nous avons effectu\u00e9e m\u00eale \u00e0 dessein des pi\u00e8ces historiques chinoises et occidentales mais aussi les livres d\u2019artistes aux contenus et formes tr\u00e8s libres. La commissaire chinoise, Lou Jie a rajout\u00e9 une s\u00e9lection de pi\u00e8ces didactiques pr\u00eat\u00e9es pour l\u2019occasion par l\u2019importante biblioth\u00e8que de Dunhuang, \u00e0 savoir, outre des fiches de bambou contemporaines de la p\u00e9riode des Royaumes combattants (V<sup>e<\/sup> s. av. notre \u00e8re), des reliures anciennes de type tourbillon, rouleau, \u00e0 ficelle,\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Ainsi, du 30 juillet au 30 octobre 2018, cet ensemble unique constitu\u00e9 d\u2019une centaine de documents arch\u00e9ologiques, graphiques et iconographiques montrant la diversit\u00e9 du patrimoine chinois ou occidental, est expos\u00e9 au Mus\u00e9e du centre national de protection du patrimoine, \u00e0 l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie des sciences de Dunhuang (province du Gansu, Chine).<\/p>\n<p>Le mus\u00e9e comprend deux niveaux et accueille simultan\u00e9ment deux expositions qui traduisent parfaitement le souhait de concr\u00e9tiser le caract\u00e8re international de Dunhuang, de ses fresques allant du IV<sup>e<\/sup> au XIV<sup>e <\/sup>s. jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019attention port\u00e9e depuis quelques ann\u00e9es aux \u0153uvres originales peintes au pigment par les artistes qui sont, en parall\u00e8le, les talentueux copistes du site (Lou Jie, Hou Liming, Liu Mingjun,\u2026). Ainsi l\u2019exposition de fonds occidentaux est abrit\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tage du mus\u00e9e tandis que le rez-de-chauss\u00e9e pr\u00e9sente une impressionnante collection de pi\u00e8ces grecques, romaines et bouddhiques, avec, en particulier des reliefs et statues de pierre provenant du Gandhara. connaissances<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Afin de donner toute sa mesure \u00e0 cette premi\u00e8re exposition de documents occidentaux in situ, un colloque s\u2019est tenu le 30 juillet. Il rassemblait bon nombre de chercheurs chinois, tous aussi demandeurs de connaissances autres, en particulier sur le patrimoine inconnu qui leur est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019automne, et notamment les pi\u00e8ces pr\u00eat\u00e9es par le mus\u00e9e Bible et Terre sainte sis \u00e0 l\u2019ICP (Institut catholique de Paris). La partie fran\u00e7aise a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 diff\u00e9rentes conf\u00e9rences en lien avec le livre\u00a0: C\u00e9cile Coulangeon, m\u00e9di\u00e9viste, directrice du D\u00e9partement d\u2019histoire de l\u2019art \u00e0 l\u2019ICP, a \u00e9voqu\u00e9 les carnets de mod\u00e8les m\u00e9di\u00e9vaux, Alain Cardenas-Castro, commissaire ex\u00e9cutif de l\u2019exposition, m\u00e9diateur au Mus\u00e9um, plasticien, fresquiste a fait le point sur la fresque en Occident et montr\u00e9 l\u2019originalit\u00e9 de son parcours, domaine qui est tr\u00e8s sensible \u00e0 Dunhuang, lieu de la fresque par excellence. Christophe Comentale commissaire scientifique de l\u2019exposition, a rappel\u00e9 les d\u00e9finitions du livre et le statut des livres d\u2019artistes qui ne sont plus des livres mais des \u0153uvres d\u2019art \u00e0 part enti\u00e8re avec la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019\u0153uvres comme Jazz de Matisse, ou de pi\u00e8ces de la collection Soleil noir, mais aussi les r\u00e9alisations d\u2019\u0153uvres de collaboration entre la France et la Chine au fil des derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies, ce qui efface un peu ces st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes selon lesquels plus rien de semblable n\u2019a co-organisateur de cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement inscrit dans un programme de coop\u00e9ration triennale avec l\u2019institut de recherches de Dunhuang.<\/p>\n<p>Le pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019institut de recherches de Dunhuang, Wang Xudong \u738b\u65ed\u4e1c pr\u00e9sent lors de l\u2019inauguration, a r\u00e9it\u00e9r\u00e9 son souhait d\u2019une coop\u00e9ration permettant de mieux mettre en avant les ressources Est \u2013 Ouest, et, en particulier, d\u2019une part des \u00e9changes entre \u00e9tudiants et chercheurs fran\u00e7ais et chinois, d\u2019autre part des expositions de type patrimonial, cet ensemble \u00e9tant cibl\u00e9 sur des th\u00e8mes conjoints qui s\u2019inscrivent, par ailleurs, dans les grandes probl\u00e9matiques pr\u00f4n\u00e9es par la Chine dans le cadre du programme des Routes de la Soie.<\/p>\n<p>La Chine reste extr\u00eamement vigilante quant au choix des th\u00e8mes scientifico-techniques qu\u2019elle ma\u00eetrise au mieux depuis une vingtaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es, s\u00e9lectionnant d\u00e9sormais ses partenaires \u00e9trangers selon ses orientations. Depuis les ann\u00e9es 2000, qui marquent l\u2019entr\u00e9e de la Chine \u00e0 l\u2019OMC, les prolongements des coop\u00e9rations men\u00e9es depuis les ann\u00e9es 50 avec le voisin sovi\u00e9tique puis avec les pays occidentaux sont devenus des actions parfois ponctuelles parfois suivies, le dialogue suppose une connaissance du terrain de la part des organismes int\u00e9ress\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Il n\u2019emp\u00eache que le pays ne s\u2019est toujours pas dot\u00e9 d\u2019un mus\u00e9e des civilisations occidentales, notamment allant de la Gr\u00e8ce antique \u00e0 l\u2019aube du XX<sup>e<\/sup> s., en d\u00e9pit des importantes collections qui se sont cr\u00e9\u00e9es dans la discr\u00e9tion la plus absolue. Ce manque est patent et ne peut remplacer la multiplicit\u00e9 des expositions temporaires qui se sont multipli\u00e9es depuis les ann\u00e9es 90 du XX<sup>e<\/sup> s.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style
